Nita was such a loving gift to us all. When I met Nita in September of 2016, I had no idea what a profound force of life she would be in the way that she guided and supported me. Her joy and humor wrapped me in a warm blanket of love. I believe in some miraculous way that an uncle I never met, Tim McLaughlin who died in WWII gave me a special gift. He gave me Nita. Nita was Tim's mystery girl, and they'd been writing to each other for some time. Knowing Nita, it's easy to see how she brightened his life through the dark days of war. Nita was an Angel from Heaven!
